I just binged watched it this weekend. Anyone else watching? I really enjoyed it. It’s good.

asides from the story…. Sienna Millers clothes, that Sloane-y look, the dresses and coats not to mention the home, we’re captivating!

yes the final was disappointing.

User79865765 · 27/06/2022 09:18

It was ridiculous.

Anyfeckinusername · 27/06/2022 10:14

It has left me in a bad mood all day. My mind keeps going back to it - I dislike them all but most of all sienna millers character and her big “finale” of a course correction …

I want all her clothes though.

The clothes were lovely, the rest was just completely untenable as a concept. I'm a lawyer, I generally watch legal things and think they're stupid and unrealistic but this one was just preposterous.

Yea, you are not wrong, it was crap. But I got sucked in and watched all the episodes! And then brooded over it and ended up in an irritable mood!

her sense of entitlement annoyed me far more than his.

It seemed ok at the start and I had to know what happened, the usual. Suspect I’m scraping the netflix barrel… any recommendations for anything better?

MrsTerryPratchett · 27/06/2022 18:57

Can someone kind PM me the outcome. I got annoyed halfway and never finished it. Irritated me a LOT.

Cherryblossoms85 · 27/06/2022 19:08

I thought the Star chamber was quite interesting. Old movie.

hockeygrass · 27/06/2022 21:06

@MrsTerryPratchett , you can Google the plot as it was based on a book.

Margot78 · 08/05/2023 01:01

I thought Sienna Miller carried this entirely.
Netflix seem to have this winning formula where they take a couple of well known names, throw in a controversial scene or two, make it all glossy and americanised and then people will hate-watch it and turn a blind eye to preposterous plots and unconvincing dialogue. It’s time they produced something with a bit of substance.
