Loved Wet Leg and St Vincent so far - enjoying Billie Ellish right now.

Been to the festival 5 times and it's great fun but I am enjoying being indoors and comfy and warm and clean - must be getting old!

I've always thought this would be mega irritating standing next to someone with a giant flag.

Where do they put the big flags when they finally go to sleep ?

Worse than flags are the ones who are on someone's shoulders . I always think ' that's an accident waiting to happen'.. i wouldn't survive a festival

The importance of being idle !
I've been idle since Friday afternoon watching Glastonbury.
It is a good song

I have never understood how people have the physical strength to hold another on their shoulders. (obviously not young kids as they are small 😂), my DH would collapse if he tried! He wouldn't even let me try 🤣🤣

Dh used to be able to pick me up once ..
He'd have a hernia if he tried it these days !

I bet Noel will be playing Glastonbury when he is 80 too

The flagpoles are telescopic. The "this is a work event" flag is brilliant .

The fecking flags spoiled it for me. Unless you're right at the front of the main stage all you can see is a sea of flags.

The year that Kanye was headlining, someone parked themselves right at the front of the stage with a huge flag which was an image from Kim Kardashian's sex tape, of her performing oral sex on her partner at the time. I was surprised it was allowed.

So are the poles there and people bring their own flags to fly? How does it work? Or are all the flags there already?

Hopefully he'll still be able to sing by then (unlike Elton and possibly Macca.. we shall see!)
