Really enjoyed this. Thought the Sharmas were a lovely family and it was interesting to see this series telling the story of a culture that was not the mainstream

The unveiling of the Waterloo Windrush statue paralleled rather nicely with this series I thought.

I still despair over the see-sawing of racist behaviour in the UK. Idiots with nothing better to do I suppose.

The last time I challenged a racist over his hatred of Pakistanis, he had no knowledge at all of India, Pakistan, or Bangladesh. In his early 50s, he knew his parents hated them though…
