Iolo Williams Wild Anglesey

For non BBC Wales viewers it can be found on IPlayer. Williams goes round various parts of Wales (obv Anglesey In this series) followed by a film crew observing the local flora and fauna. Pretty banal stuff really, non of the jaw dropping sequences you find in an Attenborough programme. What makes it watchable is the presenters enthusiasm, to see a man so delighted in the simple pleasure of watching a hare or finding a bittern. Your mood is certainly better at the end of the half hour than when you started watching.
If you watch it you'll find it is a cracking little programme.

Agreed. Iolo is rather a hunk too. One of Wales’ best kept secrets!

I love nature and Springwatch but I am unable to take to Iolo for some reason- I think it may be partly due to his overly tight trousers Envy

They are showing him walking in Wales on BBC4 at 7:30 this week

Gordon Buchanan presents in the same uplifting manner. Luv a bit of Gordon. Always feel happier after one of his shows.
He's a bit of a silver fox too, albeit only when his curls are tightly clipped.

I agree about Gordon, he's lovely. Anyone remember the wildlife cameraman Simon King? He was adorable too but never seems to be on tv nowadays.
