Anyone watching? Good to see some of the old characters and the storyline is very prescient. There seems to be more humour as well - love Birgitte having to put up with menopausal overheating. I can't decide whether I'm fascinated or appalled by the Greenland landscape (and seascape). It's certainly dramatic.

I'm loving this too, am about 5 episodes in, it's nice to see how the characters have developed over time. I can really identify with how great it's feeling for B to be enjoying the freedom from family responsibilities and just concentrate on her career.

Can you start on this series or is it one where you have to start at the beginning?

CrannyFadock · 07/06/2022 12:25

I think it would be best to watch it from the beginning. The earlier series are great too!

I’m only on episode 2 but loving it so far. So good to see all (well, most of) the old characters again!

lazymum99 · 19/06/2022 10:57

I watched the previous series but can’t remember much detail about what happened. Do I need to rewatch or is there a recap at the beginning of this series?

Kinraddie · 19/06/2022 11:09

You don't need to rewatch the previous series if you've seen them before. It's ten years on, so previous storylines aren't really relevant.

I have fallen asleep three times now in the first episode! Can't decide whether tiredness or just that I can't get into it. Sounds like I should stick with it.....

Ilovehatecleaning · 25/06/2022 21:51

I enjoyed it. Won't give any spoilers away.
Want to visit Copenhagen now 🙂

Just seen Ep1 but I feel Birgitte is now out of touch. The need to be energy self sufficient with the consequences of the Ukraine war barely occurs to her as she drives her petrol powered car and she has instilled so few real life consequences in her son that he thinks pigs can live on fresh air and releases them near a motorway so they get run over. Not surprised the others are sidelining her

I've just finished the series and absolutely loved it. I'm sad there won't be any more, such a good watch.

Blueberrycakes · 01/07/2022 19:48

I'm happy way through now and enjoying it.

I want to visit Greenland!

Summerof22 · 02/07/2022 17:08

I’m dying here.
watching season 2 and Phillip’s girlfriend is Rita!!!

Blueberrycakes · 02/07/2022 20:29

I loved Rita. Don't remember the actress being in Borgen.

I have enjoyed series 4 but didn't love it as much as the earlier ones and I think part of the problem for me was it is such a big gap that I didn't recall the back stories of the characters.
