Corrie’s Paramedic….

Just watched the paramedic on Corrie doing chest compressions on Imran…..was he trying to start his heart or erase a stain on his shirt! Pump harder man! Not laughed so much at Corrie since the e fit of Emma circulated when they were looking for a suspect in Ted’s demise.

He was doing it at the very top of his chest, I did laugh !

I can’t remember seeing any decent chest compressions on telly. Even the Vinnie Jones chest compressions ad did them on a live person. It would be laughable except that’s where people seem to learn how to do them and it’s really sad to turn up on scene to find willing enthusiastic bystanders doing barely-there compressions.

Honestly, just for once, couldn’t they do a really good demo in Casualty? When we’re doing community training how HARD we mean by hard is the thing that really surprises people.
