I can't see a thread on this and search is broken since HQ fucked it -

Anyone seen this? I thought it was brilliant. Just as good as the book.

I loved it, I haven't read the book though.

LilythePunk · 24/05/2022 22:50

Loved it.

Heartbreaking. Very very good. Loved book too. Warning it’s so sad

GreenTeaPingPong · 24/05/2022 22:55

Yes, really good. Having seen the TV series I'm intrigued to read the book to see how Kate Atkinson deals with re-telling the early life over and over. By coincidence I've been reading her Jackson Brodie books recently and loving them.

Only finished watching last episode last night, but, while it was cleverly done, I think I enjoyed the book more. But at least, the TV series had made me want to go back and read the book again! I read it a good few years ago, but kept it as I thought I’d reread it again some day. Glad I did! 😁

Yes this was the one where I know there's a thread I saw it yet when I typed it into the new search function nothing came up for it!! 😡

I tried a search too, I knew it must be being discussed on here somewhere.

I loved the narrator's voice too.

The narrator also voices the audiobook of Richard osman’s first one, it’s a good listen!

Episode 4 here. Enjoying it.

Binge viewed that and enjoyed it but I think I preferred the book.
