Majorca -ell just pointed out that Helens new (rather dodgy IMHO) haircut fits in with the tampering with time theory!!

Good point the old "I thought that man was your lover but it was your brother" misunderstanding leading to farcical presumptions & hurt feelings? Splendid!!

I'm glad we are all doing our bit to boost ITV's SaAturday night ratings.....

I liked last nights episode - was some of it filmed at Thorpe Park?
How could Connor's "gf" complain about about him kissing her? I'm even more convinced that she will turn out to be a baddy. He is so sweet.............
And - do we think the big cat really died? Not me - I think it is being kept somewhere else to reappear later in the series.

Fubsy · 27/01/2008 20:40

I like the running gag about Connor and guns.

DD is 6, she loves this, although she did have hysterics when the worm swallowed Connors head last week. But she said afterwards it was because she thought whoever it was with the sword had cut Connor's head off!

Actually I liked the crappy FX last week with the obvious arm in a worm glove puppet.

Yesterday the girl with the cat (Valerie) was bugging me as I was sure Id seen her before. Turned over, and there she was in Casualty. But Im sure Ive seen her in something else - any ideas?

Babyramone · 27/01/2008 22:21

think she was Debbie in brookside

HLxxx · 28/01/2008 11:36

My DBs love Primeval. We live near the Kingston where they shot the Reptor scene (Bentall Centre) in the first episode. They are now frightened to go in the carpark. But next to Dr Who its their favorite show. I think its much better than Dr who myself. HLx

SorenLorensen · 28/01/2008 11:46

Clearly the toddler deserved to get eaten by the sabre-toothed tiger as it was slurping away at a Fruit Shoot

bossybritches · 28/01/2008 14:01

oooh just watched it on "Catchup" on itv.com.....as good as ever. That gf of Conors is a baddun I knew she would be!!!

Is it wrong to be attracted to Cutter AND Steven? Steven obviously waxes between his eyebrows...and I'm sure if I met Cutter in a bar I'd decline any offer he had to make me....

Dougie Henshall is from Barrhead near Glasgow - I used to go out with someone from Barrhead...

bossybritches · 29/01/2008 19:40

Totally wrong as I got there first Farty.!!

But I'll let you have Cutter if you'll leave the delectable Steven to me.....

OP posts:
fartmeistergeneral · 29/01/2008 19:43

OK BB, but remember - you'll have to wax those eyebrows (you just know he's a mono underneath all the gloss....)

bossybritches · 29/01/2008 22:49

It won't be his eyebrows I'm interested in......although those eyes you could drown in....... sigh

Wow, good episode tonight! I really like Connor! Why is he the only one without an action figure yet?

bossybritches · 06/02/2008 10:56

Action figure Ell??

Conor's character is gaining more & more depth I really like him-wish he could see past that bitch Carolyn though,Abby needs him!!!

calzone · 06/02/2008 12:25

how scary is Primeval though?

I really thought it would be OK for ds(5) to watch but it really isnt!

I have to hold DH's hand cos I just dont know what is going to happen!!

meglet · 06/02/2008 14:00

calzone it is SO scary! I nearly wet myself watching it on Saturday when the mad vampire seals were attacking them!!!

And then I threw up instead as I have brutal morning sickness, ho hum!

fartmeistergeneral · 06/02/2008 15:12

Calzone- my 6 year old ds watches it without batting an eyelid.

LOL at the Stephen action figure, not a great resemblence, but the Cutter one very good. Why is there a Lester and not a Conor??? Who wants a Lester???

ellceeell · 06/02/2008 18:08

dd2 is 6 next month and loves Primeval! We always watch it with her and chat about it - no problems so far! (She wants the Abi action figure for her birthday and will probably get it).

calzone · 07/02/2008 14:45

I would love ds to watch it but he freaks out too much!

DS2 (3) doesnt bat an eyelid but I just dont think it is suitable.

Where do you get the action figures from? The boys play Primeval ALL the time and go 'through the anomolies' etc and Im sure they would like the action figures!

ellceeell · 07/02/2008 18:42

Try Amazon? www.amazon.co.uk/Primeval-Steve-Hart-Giant-Arachnids/dp/B000Y0XSGE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=kids&qid=120 2409624&sr=1-2 - although that one is not from Amazon itself. I've also seen them in our big Tesco, same price

MrsGuyOfGisbourne · 07/02/2008 18:57

Ditto re Jenny's dress sense. Boissy britches - impressed at our working it all out. I cannot get my brain around it, and rely on the DC to explain what is going on while I just giggle @ Cutter's hammy acting

fartmeistergeneral · 08/02/2008 08:12

I saw the action figures in Tesco, but £9.95!!!! Outrageous!! Esp considering the Dr Who ones are about £5 now.

Bossybritches, maybe you can buy YOURSELF a Steven doll??!

bossybritches · 08/02/2008 12:08

swoon

Fubsy · 10/02/2008 22:09

Couldnt resist it - bought DD the Rex cuddly toy in tescos, seeing as it was only a fiver more than an action figure.

She's asleep cuddling him now!

bossybritches · 11/02/2008 14:21

wails I wanna cuddly Rex!!!

snigger must tell the DD's to look out for one - it's my birthday soon!!

OP posts:
Fubsy · 11/02/2008 23:40

She's a bit upset there isnt a Connor doll tho!
