Was there a 1980s version of the ch 4 Tv show Hunted?

Or,possibly early 90s.

I remember people being on the run, I remember a helicopter or possibly 2. I remember a “chaser” in a long black coat that used to flip himself over a 5 bar gate in the opening sequence. Google is not helping. Seem to remember it was a reality type show not a drama.

Wanted! much better than Hunted as far as I remember.

It was called Interceptor I think, with Annabelle Croft presenting. Very naff!

There was a one-off called The Mole. Early 90s I think. The premise was that they all thought they were being hunted but one was actively sabotaging their efforts and they had to guess which one (I don’t recall that they did).

The Mole was fantastic. It was early 2000's as I remember having kids to get to bed in time to watch it. The presenter was quite dishy and it was really difficult to work out who 'The Mole' was so it kept you guessing until the end. I wonder why they didn't make any more as it was a great format.

Wanted! They had to stand in a phone box for the live show and not get caught.

The presenter became The Banker on Deal Or No Deal, apparently. Mentions an illness in an interview that stopped him presenting.

Oh, The Mole was just fabulous. Such a great concept. It's should have run and run but there were only two series.
