Anyone else agree that Grey's has really passed it's sell by date and frequently jumps the shark?

It has become a woke tick list peopled by random characters that have popped up from nowhere (e.g. Nick's niece). Also total lack of chemistry between Meredith and Nick!

It's such a shame remembering the early days of McDreamy, McSteamy, Cristina, George, Izzy, Callie and Arizona, Lexie etc etc. It was unmissable and every episode was eagerly anticipated. Now I record it and watch if I have nothing else to see and if I remember.

I agree. The story arc between Meredith & Nick is just so off & weird. I find him a bit creepy.

It should have stopped about 4 seasons ago IMO.

I'm not a fan but have lazily watched over the years. I really want to ask a terrible question that I feel guilty about asking - what's happened to Meredith's face? It's all puffy and weird.

Has she had health problems? Is it Botox and cosmetic surgery? Just age?!

I've only watched 3 episodes of this new season.

It's been trash for years but this new season - I can't even get into it. It's well passed it well by date it should of ended when Christina and Derick exited.
It's just the same rehashed storylines - barely any medical storylines like the old days and they ruined the characters like Amelia and Link!

Amelia and Link - again no chemistry- I agree ruined them as characters

I missed season 17 but quite enjoying 18. I am wondering if it's the last one.

I am on the episode where there are issues with certain surgery methodologies - trying not to do spoilers - I do still find this interesting. So far I like Nick. The Parkinson's trial is interesting.

Loved it up to about season 14 then it started to decline. Last season was awful but lockdown. This season is rubbish too tho! Persevering but think it's gone on too long. Loved mer and Derek. Alex and jo. Arizona and Callie, Owen and Amelia Jackson and April. Mark and Lexie. Teddy and Tom

I’ve not even attempted to pick up this new season. I stopped after Jackson and Tom left. So that’s where it ends for me. That’s how we finish this. We dance it out.

I will miss Cristina Yang for the rest of my life.

I gave up after Alex' disappearance - been watching out of loyalty for at least 2 seasons before that tbh 🤷‍♀️

meredith is always swanning off with transplant guy (who is so bland I can’t remember his name) and leaving her kids. Who were without her for weeks when she had covid. Does she spend any time with them at all?

I have started watching them again. I absolutely love it. But it does need to finish.

I’m a huge fan. But from season 14 onwards its been a massive disappointment. It’s boring and pointless and I don’t really like any of the characters now. It should have finished ages ago and I say that as a big fan. I still watch purely as I want to see how it ends but I’ve ended up fast forwarding through bits as I frankly just don’t give a shit. The old Greys was amazing!
