I scrolled back to 10th May and didn’t see a thread on this sorry if duplicating.
I binged it all yesterday, will need to rewatch. Initial thoughts - Sloane was a far better character. This series was really good on the comedy front, series 5 was just constant shock rather than comedy. I didn’t like series 5 that much (though was admittedly entertained) and had no interest in rewatching. I thought it was lovely they took the loving relationship angle with Kate and Nathan Jr, would have been tiresome to have the conflict all series. Found the last couple of episodes (though that was past my bedtime to be fair!) close to the bone, with the over-working and the anger as protection being something to grow from, friends from uni egging each other on, and the general idea of growth as a mom! Think Catherine Reitman is great at distilling that demographic’s experience. Better than Motherland in my opinion, I think because this is more work focused, but I don’t have school age kids yet either.
