Help me ID this actor

I have come across someone in real life who is the spitting image of an actor who either is or used to be in Eastenders. I don't watch it regularly but it's bugging me. Male, 50s, short grey hair and a kind of open, round face. He had a mild manner - not shouting all the time like most of them. I've looked through the character lists but don't recognise a name. Not much to go on I know 😁

Oh that is Cliff Parisi. He's got quite a typical - there was a lookalike at my DC swimming lessons back in the day.

References are to a similar thread from a few years ago which went on for pages and pages. Several posters suggested Samantha Bond might be the person the OP was thinking of, the OP ignored them for ages, and lo and behold she was thinking of Samantha Bond.

I understand Cliff now lives in Saffron Walden so maybe it was him if you saw him round there. I would have thought Call the Midwife keeps him busy though
