Dublin Murders. WTF is going on?

Watching the first series of this. Was really enjoying it, but am now confused. I've got my head around Rob being Adam as a boy. But what's with the Cassie/Lexie storyline?

Ugh, I hate it when something starts off so promisingly and then gets ridiculously far-fetched.
There is too much going on here!

If you read the books they've unfortunately shoe horned two into one and it doesn't really work although the chemistry between the two lead actors is amazing.

I felt the same when I watched it OP. It's a ridiculous and unsatisfying ending.

I watched the first few episodes and was gripped, then instantly lost interest. The main characters are annoying and self absorbed. The plot line too far fetched and confusing.
