Did anyone else watch this? Fascinating programme about Johnny who was born deaf, but brought up in a largely non-deaf environment. As well as the struggles he went through, you really felt for his mother and the lack of support she got.

Oooo, I haven't seen this but will watch. My sibling was born deaf but grew up in our (hearing) family. Sounds like an interesting programme, thanks for sharing x

I wear hearing aids and I had to laugh when he was talking about the hearing tests saying 'you're not sure if you hear the sounds'
This is so true! You're like is that a sound? Or am I imagining it? Oh god am I even doing this right 🤣
