It’s now available on iPlayer! I’ve been keeping an eye out for this for months! I know a few people here watched the first season with Anna Kendrick, which is also still on there and now Netflix for anyone who hasn’t seen it.

It’s an anthology series focusing on different loves at different stages of one character’s life. Last season Darby was the main character, this time the main character is Marcus, played by William Jackson Harper (Chidi from The Good Place) and he’s newly divorced.

I’m planning to get through it over the next few days but maybe not as quickly as the last season which I watched in two days and then wished I hadn’t rushed through it as I really loved it.

Oh glad I spotted this thread! I loved series 1 and have been waiting for 2 for ages as well. Have binge watched nearly all of it today, while sick in bed 😳loved it!

I loved the first series. Watched it far too fast and regretted it. I'm not warming to this one as much sadly. Hopefully it'll get better as it goes along

Yes! Same here. As much as I like Marcus, he’s too flawed from the beginning for me and I think that’s spoiled my view of him a bit, I’m not as sympathetic towards him when things don’t go right for him.

Whenever things didn’t work out for Darby it was because she was wrongly putting too much faith in people but Marcus is just too weak and kind of the cause of his own problems. He always knows what the right thing to do is but just hasn’t the guts to do it. I’ve not finished yet but he could do with going to therapy and working on himself.

I really enjoyed it! I laughed a lot, I like how the characters are flawed.

I quite enjoyed it. The characters grew on me.

Yes, me too. I was really happy for Marcus in the end, it was a bit more of a slow burn I think. He went through a lot of stuff and I loved his relationship with his friends.

I liked the outcome for Emily too.

I enjoyed it. Not quite as much as the first but it was still good. And I liked their ending (although they didn’t seem to want to spend any time with their baby). William is really handsome too - don’t know how I didn’t notice before!

I liked season 1 but I thought season 2 was tremendous - a much more complex and unusual story and I really got into the characters and their surroundings.

Both seasons have done a very good job of fleshing out the supporting characters. I loved it

Ha yes I thought she was going to be angry that he'd booked a holiday without asking her and she wouldn't want to leave the baby but clearly I was projecting 🤣.

I liked that Mia was always in the background, it made the end more satisfying.

I though this was great too. Nice to see it from the male point of view this time.

I loved this series. Just binge watched both! I really enjoyed them. I’m worried that they’re not making a third series..

Watches first 2 episodes of season 2 last night and think they are going for a less white show which is interesting how I then feel about it. I definitely relate less. Main character is a black, male, cheater. I don't remember much about the Anna kendrick series to compare. I remember finding her fairly bland and some annoying friends and partners.

I like the main character but agree he's not sympathetic. He does have a good best friend who is a "good" man so it's not like all men are portrayed as shits.
