Thanks all. I didn’t actually watch. Having just read the thread is enough. I don’t think I’ll bother if most of it is the family stuff. So glad Eddie won.

I’m sure that the producers wanted Pookie to play to the cameras but she is obviously a character. I don’t think I would eat at her restaurant- I like my rice white or brown. There is some naturally Red rice that can be delicious or at a pinch yellow with saffron or turmeric.

I can imagine a couple of the contestants that left like Farouk starting restaurants.

When is celeb masterchef on?

Right person won in my opinion. Of course next year I'll forget who even won it haha.

Last year I watched this pregnant. And now baby walrus is 1 a week on Sunday.

Eddie! What a meal! Hurrah for him, a worthy winner. And seems like a thoroughly nice and reasonable bloke. So rare. Good luck to him and roll on the restaurant, I'll start saving for dinner now.

Definitely the right choice of winner. Pookie was getting really annoying with her Pookieworld talk. It smacked off conscious self-promotion, she kept doing it and it was definitely not endearing by the end. Everyone knows by now that Masterchef can open doors and she was possibly trying to unlock them a bit prematurely. I think that her main and desert were actually basic dishes. I would not enjoy her food. Eddie's dishes showed a completely different level of skill and mastery of ingredients from the very start. As for Radha, what a beautiful and intriguing young lady. She was genuinely very likeable.

Have actually managed to catch up ( real life eh! Interfering in on line fun) . Good result, I would have been happy to see any of them as the winner but Eddies biriani looked like heaven in a bowl to me.
