Hi Just got a positive Covid test and am settling in for a few days of rubbish telly.
I'm actually 42 but watch tv like a teenager.
Loved Killing Eve, The one, Dance academy, babies behind bars and the dog house.
Can anybody suggest their favourite rubbish TV shows for me please?
Thanks very much!!

Oh and This is Us on Prime video is simply amazing. It follows this family’s lives both in current time and through flashbacks. There’s six seasons so that should keep you occupied a while. Hope you feel better soon though and don’t need it all!

Call My Agent on Netflix has a great lesbian central character (Ten Per Cent is the UK version and not as good I don't think) and also Feel Good is about lesbian comedian Mae Martin and very light and easy to watch.

I love "Feel good" think I'm up to date now though.
I'll look up "call my agent" though, thanks!

Lots of girl on girl action in the hot tub in the Below Deck franchise, if that floats.your boat.

I agree with PP it's rubbish but compulsive viewing!

gvb8 · 02/05/2022 18:47

Real housewives - so trashy, full of terrible people but totally addictive. New York is my favourite, but Beverly Hills, New Jersey and Orange County are all top level trashy Wink

I’ve just started watching the ultimatum on Netflix…6 couples..they’ve been given the ultimatum to marry their partner or go separate ways..before they decide all the couples get a chance to go on dates with each other and see if they get on better with other folk

Absolutely not rubbish but super easy viewing is Harlem, on Prime.

It's phenomenal.

Also for bonus points one if main characters us a lesbian.

LemonDrizzles · 02/05/2022 20:07

Unreal on Amazon Prime

Gross point. It's a tv show about the making of the original Beverly Hills 90210

Egghead68 · 02/05/2022 21:30

Veep on Amazon Prime. It’s very funny. The vice-presidential daughter and the secret service detail are lesbians (though this doesn’t feature till the later seasons).

The bold type on Netflix should fit your requirements perfectly

Ferngreen · 04/05/2022 07:01

White Lotus series is good - on amazon I think.

90 day fiance would have been my suggestion. So much content which got me through the first lockdown.
If you have discovery+ they have a great selection of trash on there!
Love after lock up, sister wives etc.

SiobhanSharpe · 04/05/2022 22:16

New on Netflix -- the Royals. Starring Elizabeth Hurley.
Utterly ludicrous. But might be amusing if you're desperate.

PortiaFimbriata · 04/05/2022 23:15

Highly recommend Call My Agent! for all your lesbian viewing - none of the lesbians die AFAIK which is a bonus, but you do have to read subtitles or speak good French which might be a problem in your enfeebled state.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is on All 4 and Disney Plus. No subtitles but a rather poorer lesbian survival rate.

Wandavision on Disney Plus is amazing for female-centred storytelling and loads of fun, but perhaps a bit thinky.
