Gregg Wallace's island getaway

He is on a tour of Madeira tonight.
Eating and drinking his way around this beautiful island for some winter sun and maybe a biscuity buttery base!
It is a lovely island.

So envious , I've been several times and adore it , so it was good to see all the sights again .

I've been there years ago , but somehow he made it seem better then I remember it!!
I did swerve the basket trip down that hill

I wish they'd bring him to deserted island and then getaway leaving him stranded.

WHY does he host so many shows? He's insufferable!

I don't like him much either , but he is clearly popular with producers!
It does follow the usual minor ' celeb' travelogue shows though ( see, Jane McDonald tours the Caribbean islands, Joanna Lumley goes somewhere exotic, Fern Britain in cornwall many others I have forgotten)
They get treated like kings or queens and rarely give any negative reviews !! Or become ill with food poisoning from the fish or hate their hotel

I won't watch anything he is in. The shouty manner gets on my nerve and the fact he cannot believe his luck that he lands all these programmes. Seems to be permanently grinning.

Can't stand him, there must be people with more talent than him out there. We never watch anything with him.
