Really enjoying this show, it's got real pathos, dark humour and insight and Jean Smart ( Laura Langley in Frasier ) is just fabulous in it!

Yes I binged it all in a couple of days. Brilliant, strong female leads, cutting dark humour, really enjoyed it.

Completely agree. Thought it was marvellous. Even the minor characters/ the agent and his “assistant”. So well observed and acted. Apparently series 2 is due soon.

Just finished the series today, loved it. Jean Smart was brilliant as the Mum in Mare of Eastown too.

I'm loving this too. Ava's mum is played by Mel from Frasier too, another little Frasier link.

I have one episode to go. Without being spoilery for anyone still watching, I loved what Ava did in episode 9. I cheered

It's great. I love the characters and surprising turns the plot takes.

I watched it based on a recommendation on here a few weeks back

loads of laugh out loud moments and as you said pathos.
I particularly adore Kayla - what a character 😭
one of the best moments was when Diana’s former ‘stalker’ tried to avoid her - brilliant 😭😭
