If you are looking for a really gorgeous 3 part Agatha Christie thriller to watch over the long weekend- this is the one. Sweet, funny and beautifully done!

I keep finding myself saying “but they only filmed that a few years ago!”

I’ve decided this is one of the marks of creeping middle age.

I suppose it’s the BBC? They’ll be wanting to make hay while they own the Christie rights (?)

It's on Brit Box and much better than the ITV version which shoe-horned Miss Marple into it. I agree it was great fun and I loved Frankie and Bobby. Directed by Hugh Laurie, and it made me chuckle quite few times. For once, it pretty much stuck to the plot.

I enjoyed it too and kept my Britbox subscription going purely because I knew it was being released this month. Haven't seen the Miss Marple adaptation but the book is one of my favourite ACs.

Only disappointment is that there wasn't much chemistry between Frankie and Bobby.

Thats my favourite Agatha Christie book! will definitely be watching. I hope they haven't changed too much

I started watching the Miss Marple version after watching the Britbox one and I can't believe how many changes they made to that one. (Although I suppose shoehorning Miss Marple in there should have given me a clue!)

Bumping as just seen an advert - WDTAE is going to be shown on ITV (and ITVx) "soon". Looking forward to watching this short series again.
