Agreed regarding Samson's unaccountable transformation into a prat. Writers - you can't just do this and get away with it. Destroys any credibility characters might have. Mind, I do recall having a moan about how they were writing his character's dialogue a while back. At that point it was a bit too 'right on' for a down to earth Yorkshire Dales lad of his age and background. So there's been a complete 180.

And this was in an episode where I was coming here with some praise: that beautifully shot scene with Sam at Alice's grave.

I don't know how the camera person shot that scene while being blinded by the sun!

I'm also fuming with the way Samson is acting towards Amelia, who does he think he is blaming it all on her.

The youngsters acting is great in this storyline though - Amelia, Noah and Samson.

I get they are trying to show how someone dying of cancer affects family in different ways. I'm just finding it hard to feel any sympathy for Chaz. I also think Paddy needs to tell her to fuck off tbh.

Perhaps it's her weird lips that are putting me off.

I used to really like Chas back in the day but she has turned into one of the most horrible, disgusting and unlikeable characters.

How many more times is Samson going to tell at Amelia saying she's ruined his life?! Really awful that he keeps on and on about aborting or getting the baby adopted. Amelia is really growing on me.

Samson's really had a personality change hasn't he.
He's being horrid to Amelia and that's not how I would have expected him to behave at all.
I think they're showing Faith's story really well. Will be sad to see her go.
Loving the moments between her and Eric and enjoying all the old boy' moments with Zac, Rodney, Bear and Eric.
