Has anyone else watched ? It’s a long running Japanese series where toddlers are sent on small errands and about the adventures they have doing them .

I haven't seen it but it looks intersting.

There's an article in the Guardian about it - they do a lot of preparation to make sure it's safe. Sounds weird though. I don't think I'll watch it.

I'm watching and I'm gobsmacked! But I'm loving it!

I read an article about it yesterday too & was intrigued.

I don't know what I think. It's incredible in one way (in Episode 1, a 2.5 yo walks a kilometre to a supermarket snd buys some groceries.)

But it feels a bit exploitative, made worse by the annoying patronising v/o & canned laughter.

Obviously they make sure the child is safe but it's still incredible watching a 2 yo stick out a little flag at a busy road to stop the cars so he can cross!

I saw a trailer and really didn't like how the boy looked distressed. They have a strange sense of humour where they think being cruel to children is funny.

I don't think they are being cruel, to be fair. But yeah, still feels a bit exploitative.

I’ve just started the first episode. I don’t know what to think! I know he’s being watched but such a lot of pressure on a 2 year old!! What must be going through his little mind.

I actually feel quite sorry for the little boy in the second episode when he has to make the juice. It’s addictive seeing what they get up to though!

I’m a bit shocked to see there is a British remake happening. It makes me worried about how that would work here.
