Anyone watching this about ice skating in the U.K. very strange life for these young people

I am! Just watched 2nd episode. Really enjoyed 1st series. So much pressure for them! I honestly think it must be the most difficult sport

It’s fascinating - I’m binge watching it. They obviously work very hard but wondered if it was a very intense life - like maybe not knowing when to call it a day and move on to a normal life. It’s not really a career in the U.K.

I know, I was thinking the same. Especially when you know you are far off points wise for the Olympics, which they have said is ultimate goal. I really like PJ and was hoping the couple with the 41 year old would do well (as I'm not too far off that age I thought good for her!)

Hate to say it , but a couple of them seem so.miserable and it shows in their performance. I would bloody love to skate even a fraction of what they can though

I just can't even imagine that pressure. I would be expecting to fall during each jump

It’s weird how they all say how much they love it but then spend a lot of time looking miserable. Great bunch of young people though - such a work ethic.
