Same for me. All my friends have been texting me as they know I love all things mini.

DD and I are watching and enjoying it so far!

I’m loving it!

I was a bit disappointed. The standard seemed really poor, and the tasks very unequal. Much easier to make lovely food in 8 hours than 4 regency dining chairs. Not sure if I'm allowed to talk about who won/went home? But I thought the eliminated person may have taken the rap for a poor team decision.
It will be interesting to see how the programme settles in as they get more strategic about what they can do in the time limits.

The food was really good, I didn’t think the tables and chairs were as good as I expected. I thought the red curtains were well done.
The best bit was when Sandy went inside the rooms, I loved that. I wish I could do go inside my own dolls house.

I thought they did much better this week. I really liked the art deco theme. And the bit where Sandy wanders round the finished rooms has really grown on me, I found it charming and quite convincing. I reckon I'm in for the series now.

Anyone else bought themselves a bunch of craft supplies to have a go?!

Always, always wanted a dolls house but none of my dc were interested. I’m crap at crafts but would love to buy one that someone else had already furnished beautifully!

I actually have a replica of my real house that I had made, it’s 1:12 scale, the same one they use on the show.
I’m not very good at crafting but love buying all the mini things and have found some wonderful sellers on Etsy who make me customised bits and pieces. I often pick up things in pound land etc and find I can use them such as mini Christmas decorations. It’s the most lovely hobby.
Both bathrooms were incredible and it’s good getting to know the contestants.

I felt the second episode was better but I'm afraid I've given up. I so wanted to like this - I love Sandi (her Secret Escapes is a joy) and I'm fascinated by miniatures, but I just couldn't warm to any of the makers (or the judges for that matter).

But the Sewing Bee is back on 27 April I understand, so that's my crafty fix sorted

I'm desperate to get a proper big collector's doll's house but I'm waiting until DD is a bit older and can do it with me (at least for a few years until she gets too cool...!)

I’m still watching but I am fast forwarding a bit. I did like the nurseries.
