Am missing LOST, Desperate Housewives and 24

Surely they're meant to be restarting soon?

I asked this question yesterday about DHw on the Ugly Betty thread. I suppose it's been hit by the script writers stike too.

The seventh season of 24 was originally scheduled to premiere in the US on January 13 but has been postponed due to writers strike.

If it has not even started in US then it will be yonks 'til it gets here .

But I don't understand why some of this is still held up? I thought that 24 had finished filming because Keifer had to go to jail in December. So why is it being held up?

Have read Desperate Housewives not starting til end of March at the earliest due to writers strike! AAArgh, i need it to cheer up January!
