Leighton Meester AKA Blair Waldorf

Set in beautiful Croatia (poss Split?)

Anyone watched?

Found it painfully bad.
The book isn't exactly Shakespeare but it's still a thousand times better,

raspberryjamchicken · 06/03/2022 14:51

Haven't seen it yet but I love Leighton and will watch her in anything so I'll probably give it a go.

FairyLightAddict · 06/03/2022 20:42

Shame it barely showed beautiful Croatia. I thought it was passable, not great.

worriedatthemoment · 06/03/2022 21:06

Watchable thats about it but then i was stick in bed with a bad cold

Anna197264 · 06/03/2022 21:09

Yeah I watched it. Started off okay but it was pretty bad acting in some bits and the plot line was a bit odd. Watchable if you don’t want to use your brain but I wouldn’t highly recommend it.

DillDanding · 06/03/2022 21:13

I managed about 1/3. Bloody awful.

isthismylifenow · 07/03/2022 09:12

It was quite dire imo.

I called it in the first 10 minutes, but it just dragged out.

I only watched it to the end to prove myself right.

workshy44 · 07/03/2022 14:54

It was short at least. It was a pity as the premise and the setting were good but the acting was so so bad and there wasn't really any story. I mean the taxi driver, come on !!!

Mushrooms0up · 07/03/2022 15:08

It was a very easy watch. Acting wasn’t great and dialogue poor but a decent enough mid week watch

LazyMareofEastown · 07/03/2022 20:22

It was utterly dreadful but I watched it in one sitting!

One on foot chase scene was Benny Hill calibre hilarious 😂

There was also a scene near the end which involved crying and Leighton was just scrunching her eyes and hitching. Not a single tear, not even a stunt tear. I was giggling away.

Syrian guy was quite tasty though and Croatia looks stunning 😍.

Anna197264 · 07/03/2022 21:11

I watched it after a really stressful day at work. It was totally what I needed to unwind as I didn’t have to think at all

Cryingbutstilltrying · 07/03/2022 22:50

Enjoyable enough tripe.
I think that covers it 😁

DorothyZbornakIsAQueen · 08/03/2022 16:20

I though it was like a 6th form play with a budget
