Anyone watching this? I've just found it in BBC2 6:30pm/iPlayer.

We're used to seeing him on Masterchef the professionals, etc but here he's looking for a more relaxed life on his smallholding, and learning about the other side of food production on a small scale - with a more relaxed (and maybe pre-retirement) outlook. In the series he's learning about the collaborative communities around him and is exploring duck keeping, orchard maintenance, beekeeping, etc and generally having a great time.

And he's really good to look at too! Phew! 🌹

I've been watching this but it makes me laugh as he seems to have employed many to do the work for him. Not quite the life of a small holder. But it's relaxing telly.

Unlike you OP, I've seen more than enough of Marcus and I bet the viewing figures for this rip off from Jamie O agree with me. It's poor.

Ive enjoyed watching it - he is bound to have lots of ‘staff’ helping out as hes still got restaurants to run, doesnt mean we cant enjoy it and the simple but fresh food he serves at the end.

Smallholding my arse - it's 65 acres. A smallholding is under 50 acres.

Do like his curly-haured pigs though!
