@Fizbosshoes

Looking forward to rhe interviews. Though sure none will come close to Solomon and his page of boats that time.

Disappointing that Akeem didn't get that far as reckon he might have done?

Definitely! He came across so lovely on You're Fired but he'd been torn apart I think..

The bussiness plans..intresting to see ones that are quite different but cakes and that been done before.

Fanacapan · 11/03/2022 14:55

@bonfireheart

Investing in their business ideas rather than them makes this a convoluted version of Dragons Den.

Stephanie should have gone ages ago, she is the most awful. But will enjoy her interviews!!

There was a childrens clothes business on Dragons Den recently that sounds like it might be similar!
Porfre · 11/03/2022 15:38

After that episode the only one who looks credible is Harpreet now.

No matter how annoying we may find her.

Lol at Akeem disagreeing in the boardroom. Though I did lose a bit of respect for him when he turned round and said the stereotypical- Lord Sugar will regret this, after he was fired.

Highlight though was Harpreet- the biggest issue from this label is... It looks we want to kill children.

Riverlee · 11/03/2022 16:46

Alana Spencer

Alana Spencer - previous cake maker /chocolate winner

Luisa Zissman

Runner up, cupcakes

Ellmau · 11/03/2022 18:58

Carina's business was a bakery which sounds quite similar to Harpreet's idea.

Very interesting that from that link to business plans, one candidate's business is supposedly "launching this month". I won't say who in case it's a spoiler...

dillite · 11/03/2022 22:21

Gosh. That was so, so, so bad. Aaron's food should have been in Stephanie's jars. The shit was so solid that babies would have died by choking on it.

Harpreet looked exhausted. You can see that it's been a long process. I still dislike her massively.

Those stupid tight dresses on them all. Just. Why? And those heels!

MinglingFlamingo · 11/03/2022 22:24

Gogglebox commenting on last night's episode is brilliant GrinGrinGrin

Maireas · 12/03/2022 07:47

Those blonde hair extensions on the carpet 😊

Maireas · 12/03/2022 07:48

Where do people usually keep their extensions?

FlyingGeeseAgain · 12/03/2022 08:05

The fact that not one of the team noticed the label is enough for all of them to be fired. They’re all a shower of incompetents but my favourite is Brittany.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 12/03/2022 08:07

The lads on the new Changing Rooms had a place for them my friend.

(Not the indomitable LLB who was indeed summoning up his inner Dave Grohl most weeks)

Two headsworth (if you are the beautiful swishy Karren) by the look of it ☺️

Sheldon that's brilliant!!

"Our logo looks like we want to kill children, which is not a good thing"
😂😂😂😂
It's an Apprentice classic!

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 12/03/2022 08:32

Isn’t it though? 🤣

Shouldn’t laugh really but honestly!!!

Advertising that you are potentially going to seriously malkie your wee ones or actually cementing their mouths shut with couscous and sweet spud…

I daresay Heinz et al are not quaking in their boots.

Maireas · 12/03/2022 08:35

I know. It's like a parody, really.
Stephanie really should have gone.

DrSbaitso · 12/03/2022 08:36

They're under huge pressure and time constraints. They get focused and stressed, go copy/design blind and have no chance to get away from it for a bit and come back with a clear head.

That's intentional, of course. Just like making the product and branding teams separate and not allowing communication between them. It's designed to create this kind of fuck up. That's why it's such good TV.

It's never been a serious test of entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen (graphic design and copywriting are specific skills and most business owners get experts in to do them). It's just a business-themed game show.

And I love it!

Maireas · 12/03/2022 08:38

To be honest, I'd have sacked them all, given the money to charity and filled up the next few weeks with repeats of The Good Life.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 12/03/2022 08:42

I think so too. I was gutted to see Akeem go but am glad he isn’t attending the interviewing. It would be harrowing!

I love the interview stage - I should imagine there’ll be a few interesting facial expressions.

I’m wondering if Stephanie is suralan’s pick. (Or top two anyway). I just don’t understand how she survived that (unlike the malkied bairns) when the lorry saviour lass didn’t…

Who nose? 😉

DrSbaitso · 12/03/2022 08:43

Much too wholesome. I want First Time Fuck Dies on a Thursday night.
SheldonesqueTheBstard · 12/03/2022 08:44

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

DrSbaitso · 12/03/2022 08:46

I hope Sugar and Karren live forever. I never want the show to end and I never want anyone else in those roles. Don't really care who the male adviser is.

Maireas · 12/03/2022 08:52

I agree, Sheldon, I couldn't have coped with Akeem in the interview stage.
Also, Stephanie not fired is a complete and utter mystery. She's not even particularly pleasant.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 12/03/2022 08:52

I love Claude but if he isn’t well enough next time either, I’d love to see Thomas pillows in the seat. 🙂

Maireas · 12/03/2022 08:53

@DrSbaitso - First Time to Fuck Dies
😂😂😂😂😂

They are quite brilliant.
I just love the directness in a world of soppy euphemisms.
