Which films do you think would make a good tv series?

I'd love to see Dirty Dancing as a tv series. I enjoy the movie but I'm not a huge fan of it but I think that it'd make a great tv series.

There's a lot of topics it could cover in more depth than the movie could. The wealthy Jewish guests who still face extreme prejudice in spite of their social standing, hence the need for them to have their own resort in the first place. Class divides. Sexual revolution. The end of those resorts with the advent of air travel for all etc.

There's so many topics that the movie touched upon that I'd love to see expanded, beyond the focus on Baby and Johnny.

What movies would you like to see become a TV show?

Zombieland was going to be series but the pilot bombed, even though I quite liked it.

Suburban Girl - from a story in Girls' guide to hunting and fishing - the whole book would have been a nice series. Also George Clooney instead of Alec Baldwin.

all might have been good/as good as or better on the big screen, with a tighter script.

The Harry Potter movies would be much better as a TV series - proper character development.

The Usual Suspects would make a good series with lots of twists and suspense.

I read The Firm by John Grisham many, many years ago…. It was a great book. They made a film with Tom Cruise, cut half the book out and changed the ending! I think it would be a good series.

Definitely Harry Potter. There would be so much more time to develop the characters and storylines properly!
