I know. I am taking the moral highground at the moment, especially after watching the Extras Xmas special with the impassioned speech about how vacuous the whole thing is. But...just..can't..tear self...away...

Oh dearie me. Every time I tell myself I won't watch it, I end up watching the first one 'just to see what they're like' and then the next one 'just to see how they got on overnight' and by then the first war is starting and I've been suckered in.

Only been watching it since BB 7 and was amazed how something I'd always sneered at and derided was so compelling. But agree, it's really really bad for me and seems to kill my creativity and eat up time. The Celeb ones are usually short thouugh, mercifully...

I've watched every bloomin Big Brother since day 1 .I am not proud of myself but something just keeps dragging me back. My dh hates it, and hates me for watching it!

He has tried the 'if you can't beat'em, join 'em' approach but that was too much for him.

I think when Kinga stuck that wine bottle up her doo-dah it tipped him over the edge!

They look awful this time. I don't buy this "people who wouldn't have chosen to go on TV normally" crap. All wannabes, who are obviously using the experience as a leg-up for their careers (except maybe the young sportsman). The one who is intending to use it for a Turner Prize entry looks eminently smackable.
