Grand Designs - Woman's idea

Can anyone think of any episodes of grand designs where it was the project was the woman's idea? We've been watching loads on catch up recently and every episode seems to be the pet project of a man. (Except for one woman who built a Malaysian style home in her sister's garden).

There’s one from a few years back where it was a young female architect building her own home in her parents garden I think. It was a good one. Really lovely house.

There was a woman who built an eco house in the countryside. I can't really remember much about it but she was definitely a single mum with a son who was around 8-10 years old.

I priced the water connection for it years ago

There's been a couple of female couples.

And another (AGES ago) where a mf couple had a child with SEN and they were building a house that coild serve them as he reached adulthood. And she was most definitely in charge.

I think it's Cheltenham where they build an underground house in the back garden of a Georgian townhouse. The woman was the main force there.
There's a heartbreaking one where the husband dies so the mum builds the house for the young kids.
I have a vague memory of a houseboat one where the woman was the main driver and has the baby on the boat at the end.
The one with the older couple who were architects or designers and build a stunning Frank Lloyd wright type place, was mainly the woman, the husband was quite fragile.
These are all possibly quite old now, I watched a lot while feeding dc1 in 2014

Ooh, and the older lady who built a beautiful house in the back garden I'd her house in Devin or Dorset.

@TheSpottedZebra that one was Pru Irvine I think. The young female designer one was very good (Kathryn Tyler).

The other memorable one where the female had more drive was the dairy barn/ with the amazing courtyard garden in SW London .

There was one where a woman with adult daughters built herself a small house made of hexagonal pods in a hillside in Devon/Cornwall, it was beautiful

I saw a great "How to live mortgage free" where a young woman designed the house herself. She learnt how to do the plans by looking it all up online or something. She was amazing.

Amazing. I'm going to look these up, thank you. We've been watching more recent ones, but I'll wade further back.

It WAS Pru Irvine, although I watched it so long ago and didn't realise she was 'known'.
A quick Google tells me that Kevin loved it and wanted to live there, and that, like so many GDs, it was sold a few years later.
They mo ed to the Isle of Colonsay, apparently!

Ha she is known in this house @TheSpottedZebra because my kids love the cookbook she wrote.
