... anyone watching? I'm loving it already! The lasagne looks delicious and all the contestants seem so down to earth. Definitely should have had my dinner before watching! Grin

Johnathan has made miso from mouldy lentils, he is writing a cookbook which he thinks children will enjoy. I can see him on masterchef, it’s taking the foraging genre to a whole new level.

Frankie however lived in a community in South America. I imagine they were probably slightly relieved when she left..... at least she wouldn’t be making them drink drinks made of chocolate and mushrooms. Some things are so very wrong.

I like the quick Asian and the butter chicken women, at least they cooked food.

Phew, fermented mouldy lentils won’t be gumming up the pages of a cookery book this Christmas! I think they chose the best of a strange bunch.

timeforanewname22 · 07/02/2022 21:12

Some interesting ideas certainly! I'm pleased with the two who went through...

I'm watching

Who's the narrator/voice over woman?? I recognise the voice and it's driving me mad thinking who it is

PintOfBovril · 07/02/2022 21:26

I was a bit worried about the food safety aspect of 12 year olds deep frying corn on the cob.... With fermented sausage roll...

Thanks! There was a phrase she said after I posted and I was like ooo that sounds like Lisa Tarbuck's radio show. But I still wasn't that sure

I thought Jonathan was really interesting

I was once given a hand made chocolate with a mushroom filling at a posh hotel. I very nearly 🤮.

I liked the vegan boat woman’s food the best.

I wasn’t sure about the one who went through as it looked incredibly complicated for ‘easy family cooking’ - maybe she just needs a different angle for her actual book

Love it, great idea for a format. Not many week night suppers are there? Also, no one is actually going to make their own miso, other than the aspiring author himself.

Dog house is voice overed by a Lisa Tarbuck soundalike, had me fooled for weeks.

I'd be relieved if the adorable Frankie left my community and all @viques.
