Now I've caught up (was watching about half an hour behind) did anyone see the QR code on the back of Robobunny?
I zapped it and it came up with:
My royal barcode is 200019992003
Westlife performed at the Royal Variety in those years, it seems.
Ooooh! I was thinking Royal = Prince, then wondering if somebody covered 1999 ("2000, zero, zero, party's over") in 2003 - but Westlife and the RVP are way more likely.
Sorry if it's a stupid question, but what is Charlotte's connection with Catherine Tate's Nan? Did she appear on a sketch with her once?
Marvellous work, @Hoppyhops ! I think it has to be Charlotte, but that she's deliberately putting on the (slightly OTT) northern voice in an attempt to make people think that she's Sheridan. I don't think there could be that many possibilities for Mushroom, with that voice: she isn't just very good, she is absolutely outstanding.
Actually, as well as the clue-writers obviously identifying likely wrong guesses and throwing out decoy clues to deliberately send viewers off on a wild goose chase, I think that, if they are wise, the contestants will have carefully considered similar celebs whom they might be mistaken for and really played up to make people think they are them. If Charlotte used her own, undisguised voice when speaking, she wouldn't even need to sing a note for it to be obviously her!
Still positive about Aled for Traffic Cone, but I like the suggestion of Rob Brydon. That could add quite a twist to it if they had people like Rob (as Ken Bruce), Debra Stephenson (as Davina) or Luke Kempner (as Jeremy Vine) in there who could be so unfailingly convincing as another celeb!
