Anyone seen it? Was it good? It's made by the guy who made Downton which I rate v highly.

Watching the first episode just now. Seems okay so far. Certainly nice to look at and easy to follow.

Its very Downton Abby. In fact its just an American version. Its OK and I will probably keep watching.

I don't think it will be as popular as the UK brand as its not really a British historical drama and I think that was what the main draw was for Downton abby.

However - I do love the 'old New York ' accent. reminds me of Gangs of New York

Saw first episode last night - it was okay and will watch more.

I went off Downton abby in second series as timelines got bit odd but did like Gosford Park which was Julian Fellowes as well.

DD1 isnt sure about the clothes being accurate or the makeup/eyebrows - so lots of googling and discussions on that - but cast was very watchable.

Just a reminder Series 2 starts tomorrow (Monday) on Sky Atlantic.
