Anyone watching the lovely Sophie Robinson dream home thingy?

She should never have left/ been pushed off the Great British Design programme.

I watched it last night but had no idea who she was beforehand.

I quite enjoyed it but I'm hoping that future programmes are a bit more down to earth and with normal budgets. The couple of who lived on the green were interesting but who has a shed full of antiques/stuff that you can just pull things from the way she did or can afford wallpaper at £240 per roll for the hall? . I loved that wallpaper but I'd like to see more 'normal' homes and budgets as well. I'll keep watching though.

I actually really ended up liking the black room and what she did with it but no way would I have put up with a full sized snooker table in the room instead of a dining table. I thought he was very selfish.

I watched it and liked it but thought the same - I hope the rest of the series features some more realistic houses and budgets. £10k and £25k budgets for decorating one room and hallway!!

That said, I love Sophie's aesthetic so it's nice for inspiration if nothing else.

Next weeks looks like a normal sized bedroom so hopefully there will be a range of houses.
I found hallway woman a tad annoying.
I'd hate to heat the big room. Thought they both were nice, though I'd lose the skulls.

I do love a makeover show but wish the budget was more realistic to us normal folks.
I love Sophie's style and aesthetic she is really shouty though.
