The Christmas special as great, I fricking LOVE this show! A tv highlight for me and DW and DS

I love it, but get too invested and feel let down when people don't take the dog or even worse take it then return it (reference to Christmas show ,- I had such high hopes of the kindly uncle who took the pug) My son and I love it and often shed a little tear.

Lovely episode this week, all happy endings. I was so worried the family was going to pick the manic cockapoo based on cuteness, but the little JR was perfect for them.

That different dog that that couple ended up that looked a bit like a German shepherd (Albie was he called?) Was so cute

I couldn't believe the family didn't take the staffy because the son was not happy about the dog jumping up at him and yet are going to get a puppy from Rumania that they, obviously, have never met.

Do they not realise puppies jump, bite, mouth etc?

I'm really glad the active couple kept in touch with the charity. I adored the saluki cross puppy but the dog they ended up with was absolutely perfect for them.

The family who rejected Nancy annoyed me. They rejected a puppy (they'd met) because it was being a puppy. Then contacted an overseas rescue for a puppy they don't even get a chance to meet.

Yes the saluki cross was gorgeous. I know a couple of people with salukis and they are such lovely dogs.

The ones who rejected Nancy annoyed me too. Also they said they had had several dogs before the children were born but unless they were together for a long time before they had children and/or the dogs were quite old when they got them what happened to them?

That German shepherd was the best dog in the whole show. I can't believe the couple didn't want him. He was amazing. That barking wouldn't have put me off
