The reason he moved away from Irene was that she mollycoddled him too much and he wanted a bit of independence and to live with some lads his own age. He didn't really abandon her just to be near Charity although he did want to get to know her. I wish they had moved Irene to the village too though. We got flipping Wendy instead.

Charity was horrible to Mackenzie...defo looks like a reconciliation for her and Vanessa on the cards. Vanessa who is irritating. Vinnie trying to get Manpreet and him to plant evidence to put Meena in the frame...

Charity was so nasty to Mackenzie. So obvious she's getting back with Vanessa 🙄 Such a shame as Charity and Mackenzie are good together.

That was a rubbish episode

Another episode that passed by without me actually watching it or caring what happened in it, as is the case with so many these days. I also dislike Charles and his invisible son Ethan. It's like a rudderless ship at the moment, since the "end" of the big story line, that hasn't really ended at all.

Be careful what you wish for. I wished for Meena to go, but she hasn't really and it's even more shit atm if that's possible. Heaven help us all.

If they're going to put Charity and Vanessa back together I wish they would just get on with it. I don't want it but I don't want months of this nonsense either.

For £10 I was underwhelmed. I addressed it and everything but I was underwhelmed. The mash was not a patch on home made. And the neeps were a bit meh. I am of the James Martin school of cookery. If in doubt add a good bit more butter

To do justice to the bard we are having another Burns night on Saturday with the Braemar haggis. We shall have lovely mash and buttery neeps. And I will make my own onion and whisky cream sauce.

I will address it again and recite To A Mouse. Gone are the days when I could remember Tam O’ Shanter all the way through.
