Anyone know Colombo ?

I remember, from years ago, watching an episode where someone is found dead in a sort of locked room or panic room. The dead person has put a folded up note in the light fitting and maybe drawn a line from the light fitting to somewhere.
Very poor description I know, but does anyone recognise it ?

Weirdly, this is the only episode I remember. The denouement sticks in my head. The drawers as you mention and the next bit.

Did anyone see the Columbo episode on uk tv last week. Billy Connolly was in it, as a musician, must have been a later episode as Peter Falk was looking older. I was fascinated by both these men appearing in the same show.

Oh yes, excellent episode. If I remember right, the note is the first page of the murderer’s latest book (she was a mystery writer and about 100 years old) with words scratched out so it reads, “I was murdered. By Murderer’s name”

I like Colombo but that episode for me is one of the ones I switch off, To me Billy Connely wild over acts, could be what hes meant to do for the character but it's too much for me. The more recent episodes arent a patch on the 1970s ones, I think they went on too long.
