Anyone watched The Lost Daughter, Netflix?

If so, what did you think?

I thought it was fab and many layered - thought provoking and interesting! It was uncomfortable viewing at times but I was hooked from the start - and I find it really hard to settle and watch anything these days.

I sat through it, resonated with the crushing responsibility of motherhood, but ultimately found it depressing and lacking in any sort of plot. For all the build up of tension, lingering looks (also thought the interaction of the women was going to end in a kiss), perceived threats, nothing actually happened.

It was well made, original and DULL. I didn't like any of the characters in it which, for me, makes it unenjoyable

Every tiny fraction of a second was sparkling! Real edge of my seat, what the fuck? never-seen-anything-like-this stuff.
