I get really irrationally wound-up by him.

think he is getting a bit doughy

lulalullabye · 21/12/2007 21:05

me, he is messy, thats me !!

Myrrhcy · 21/12/2007 21:05

Not me

Ledodgy · 21/12/2007 21:07

I liked him when he was first on TV but he's a bit too smug now. He looks very rubber like, like a spitting image puppet.

DaisyMoo · 21/12/2007 21:07

He's like a 5 year old in an adult body.

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 21/12/2007 21:10

i am fond of him - i love his spluttering mouth
he will wind up like jon sergeant or robert morley in a couple of decades

TheQueenSPeach · 21/12/2007 21:10

He's happy to let people think he cooks in his shed.

I can't take him seriously any more.

Ledodgy · 21/12/2007 21:11

Rofl! Paula you are so right!

notnowbernardimstuffingthebird · 21/12/2007 21:11

Yes, can see the John Sargeant connection... if only he had his personality and wit!

he needs highlight advice

pinetreedog · 21/12/2007 21:28

I like him. I want to hug him. He is getting a bit podge

notnowbernardimstuffingthebird · 21/12/2007 21:29

For me, it's not his looks but his whole being that I find irritating.

I quite fancy his roast spuds, though...

OP posts:
pinetreedog · 21/12/2007 21:31

I quite like his being. His cheeky chappy cuddly open simplistic essence. I like his essence more than his looks.s

Myrrhcy · 21/12/2007 21:32

He makes me feel ill tbh

Ledodgy · 21/12/2007 21:32

Is it worth me turning the tv over for? I've been sitting here with a laptop on my knee getting painful BH's and wondering if I should put channel four on since 9 o clock!

notnowbernardimstuffingthebird · 21/12/2007 21:32

I think that's it: cheeky, chappie, cuddly... that's what I find irritating

OP posts:
foxinsocks · 21/12/2007 21:33

yes, I feel like pointy does (as ever). He brings out the very few maternal instincts I have. I want to ruffle his hair and give him a motherly cuddle.

Zealot · 21/12/2007 21:36

ouch re the BHs ledodgy.
i've met him. he's very tall and shouldery in rl and not as nice as he seems on tv. but then i always fall for him all over again when he does his campaign shows. hate his cooking shows now, though, as if we've all got sodding gardens...

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 21/12/2007 21:37

i find him quite sexy - but then i am in my prime

Elizabetth · 21/12/2007 21:37

He's a fat-tongued oaf.

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 21/12/2007 21:40

so - is he serving the meat cold?

nannyj · 21/12/2007 21:41

who wants rocket with your christmas dinner!

pinetreedog · 21/12/2007 21:41

lol. Part of me thinks, I should find him an irritating southern twat but I can't help liking him a lot.

In fact, ssometimes when I watch him I think I wouldn't mind bein gmarried to jamie oliver. Do you ever think that, fox?
