Jus in case anybody wants to chat any further about the last series and/or Christmas special.

There's also something pleasing about having 21 threads for the 21st series! We do chat a lot. I really enjoy it though, watching along with you lot definitely adds to the fun.

I've just seen the thing about Nadiya and Kai. What a lovely couple! I wish them every happiness.

Interesting about Kai and Nadiya, I’d never have put those two together... having said that, I could never quite believe there actually was a romance between Kai and AJ ...

Nadiya and Kai make a lovely couple. I hope they both return as pros this autumn, and that Kai and AJ get to perform their show dance at some point.

Oti has done a bit of presenting on Radio 2. She’s pretty good. A dating show isn’t my bag so I won’t watch it, but I think she’ll do well.

What’s the one change you’d like for SCD? For me, I’d like the results to be broadcast live on Saturday night. I’m happy enough with everything else such as the judges, presenters and singers/musicians.

I don’t want to change the results show. Having the results on Saturday would mean they would be on too late for DD to watch. I’m happy waiting until Sunday as it means DD is able to watch.

I wouldn’t change the presenters, and I would want to keep Craig and Anton on the judging panel. Wouldn’t mind if Shirley and Motsi were replaced though.

But what if they still did a follow up Sunday show, Chessie? Your DD could look forward to that... and you could possibly not tell her the result meanwhile?

My DD bought me tickets to one of the Newcastle shows as a surprise birthday night out - really enjoyed it. Sara won the glitter ball that night as home support came out in force! I agree that although I knew what was coming Rose/Gio's 'symphony' dance was still so affecting and powerful

I saw one of the Birmingham shows and I loved it. I'm a die hard John and Johannes fan and mainly went to see them but loved it all! It was brilliant. I was really impressed by Rhys. I'm glad Sara had a win in Newcastle and John in Manchester.

But it wouldn’t be the same for her if she knew everyone else knew the results on Saturday Bluffin. She likes finding out the results the same time as everyone else (except those who look up the spoiler websites obviously).

Didn't know where else to post.. I know it was rumoured but just seen the confirmation that Aljaz has infact left SCD.

I feel sad to see him go, some of his routines have been fantastic and he seems to really show his partners off in the best way.

I wonder if he maybe he felt he had to leave before he became the new 'Anton'.

Interested to see what he does next though.

I think you might be right about the Anton thing, coveting. I thought exactly the same about Kevin Clifton when he left.

I know Aljaz is in the film of Matilda the musical, made last year and out end of this year, I think, so maybe that’s where he’s headed, musical theatre route.

It probably made it less easy with Janette not being a pro as well.

He was one of my favourites though, so I'm pleased he had a nice last series with Sara.

It must be soon the rumour mills start to go into overdrive about Strictly contestants for this years show.

Has anyone seen the news that a new Italian dancer will be joining the show, Vito Coppola(?) who seems to have accidentally let slip that he's joining the show as a pro dancer.

Just looked him up on Instagram and seems he may be a rival for Gio.

Ooh, i hasn't seen that. How many new ones did they need?

In Strictly alumni news, Kevin is going to be in Strictly Ballroom (the musical) with Maisie.

Lauren is meant to be amazing and along with Michelle is from the Burn the Floor family and Vito won the Italian version recently. The countdown to September begins.

Any thoughts on the rumoured line up?
