I like Gugu Mbatha-Raw and lovely Danny from Spooks David Oyelowo and I don't mind a good psychological thriller though it's not my favourite genre.

Is TGB worth four hours of my time?

I liked the tobacco brown cardigan Jane was wearing near the end ( I know , misses point of show )
Quite like the Therapist's flat with the huge windows overlooking the forest , though the furniture was a bit 1970s , it looked more homely than the concrete box .

Though I was impressed at all the available on street parking bays Grin

I started it last night as normal TV was so dreadful. I'm not sure if I like it that much but I'm going to carry on with it as there really isn't much else to watch and I'm curious how it will end.

It is a bit weird though ...

It was okish.

At least Jessica Plummer's acting has really come on since EastEnders.
She used to be so much worse.

Thanks all. I watched it and enjoyed it, despite the fairly grim subject matter in places. I saw the twists coming a bit in advance but not miles.

I thought the series of convenient lies and secrets told by Emma and all the professionals for various motives was interesting, and that Jane's contrasting consistent commitment to the truth made her a solidly realised character. It's a shame that the central mystery didn't seem to be tied into that theme. I'd also have liked an ending where she uses the house's technology against him, although that might have been a bit cheesy.

We watched it all, it's slow but got better

I've watched it this week, liked the premise but thought it was poorly executed.

No one seemed to behave/move/talk like a real person. I found the bits where he took them into buildings (churches?) really weird, the way they moved around looking all serious and saying random things

Finished it earlier. Really disliked the Edward and Jane characters. Plus the friend (can't remember his name) For some reason always gives me the creeps.

Thought it was watchable. For all of David O’s accolades - didn’t think this was one of his best performances. Will still be the lovely Danny from Spooks for me.

Lots of known “faces” - Dwight from Poldark, Lisa Faulkner, Mia was that girl from Eastenders. Intentionally quite diverse casting?

Didn’t quite see the ending coming - and gee, didn’t Edward have a type!!

Crikey why didn't they just leave? I wouldn't have spent 10 minutes in that house!

I liked it on a sort of 7 out of 10 basis .Good but not great really . I sort of guessed the end .However worth a shot I think

I started to feel like a hoarder for having three lamps on the floor and bookcase. It was freaky, had to have a tidy up after watching one episode.
