Or is it just my younger days spend fooling around with pirate radio stations that makes this show so appealing? DS loves the music aspect, though.

Ds loves it too - sings the theme tune - but is cross if the Jingles aren't chosen. He loves all things piratical at the mo!

It is more like saturday tv programmes I used to enjoy - and I like the broad range of music they use.

i mean I'm not asking for Joy Division, Jamelia was alright, but they could exercise a bit of taste in introducing music to children. The blue men drumming they had recently were great tho.

Well yes I wasn't keen on the cheeky girls with their completely untalented cute niece... but I will allow them a few duds - as on the whole it is entertaining.

Yeah OK I would like some better music on - I like the way at least one song is always something slightly unusual (Blue Man Group or world music or something like that) but some White Stripes or Gossip would be good. Mind you, it's possible that there is some sort of budgetary restraint hence all the rubbish 'forgettable club anthems.

DS loves the songs and frequently sings this or the theme tune.

Its a great way of introducing "real" music (ie. not nursery rhymes or songs a la Tickabilla) to little ones.

The theme tune was number 60 something in the charts this week- Chris Moyles plays it, cos the newsreader on his show is the voice of Zorst. Ds loves bellowing along to it on the way to school
There was a really odd woman singing on it the other week about a girl who lived in space or something- she was scary....

I hate it and have banned the kids from watching it! I think it is a real waste of broadcasting space.

my 2 love it. i almost banned it after ds spent a long time telling me how much he loved the cheeky girls . it weirdly reminds me of kids tv from my youth, dunno why.
