Honestly it's my dream night on BBC 2

6.30pm Strictly It Takes Two
7.00pm Top Gear
8.00pm Heston (wotsit) cooks Christmas dinner
9.00pm Fanny Hill

When I excitedly noticed this last Friday, DH announces Liverpool are on Sky so I will have to watch it on terrestrial on the portable in our bedroom, where the sound will be really low so as not to wake the DC's

I've even said he should go out with his cronies to watch it - with my blessing, I'll even give him the cash for a round of drinks...but no he's stuck to the sofa like chewing gum on hair

You can watch all of those online now

I could watch them on-line if I was'nt still at work. And when I get home, for comfort I'll be better off in bed than on a hard chair - just have to use subtitles!

Just have to get the digestive crumbs on his side...whah hah hah!!!

Your dp will not go out to the pub, with free money, with his friends to watch the football? Fully sanctioned by wife?

Man's a loon (or a bastard, depending on your pov)

Iota - we dont have Skyplus yet...just old fashioned basic sky.... although DH is cooking up a ploy to get Sky to upgrade us without coughing up for installation!

But FWIW, I dont want to wait to watch my programmes. If it's not him dominating the set it's the kids with bl**dy Peppa Pig and Night Garden, blah, blah, blah
