A good 'whodunnit'

I'm laid up recovering from an op and want to watch a good murder mystery/police procedural. Something well-written with a decent plot and gripping (not too ridiculous/high octane).

I've got Netflix/Prime/NowTV/iplayer and have seen all of Line of Duty and Unforgotten.

I'd been saving up Murder Island on All4 to binge watch but it's been taken off!

Not exactly your description, but I've just thoroughly enjoyed criminal UK on Netflix. Very clever police procedural drama / thriller with some fab guest stars.

Mare of Easttown was very good

The Cormoran Strike adaptations on iplayer, starting with The Cuckoo’s Calling.

The one that sucked me in to Ruth Rendell.was "Shake Hands Forever" on TV.

Thanks all. A friend recommended Only Murders in the Building and I forgot all about it so have started that as I have Disney.

I liked The Killing and Criminal but don't think I've seen all the series of them. There's a few on here I've seen but lots I haven't so plenty to go on

There’s Spanish and German (I think?) versions of Criminal too that were very good
