Apple TV+ worth it?

We have all the other streaming services but my OH despises Apple as a brand so he's reluctant to try it, I only want it at the minute for The Morning Show, just wondered if there is much on there as it's relatively new.

I'd suggest waiting til all the episodes of what you want to watch are out, subscribing for a month, binge watching them, then cancelling. It's what I'm going to do when the next series of Ted Lasso is out.

Agreed. Like everyone else, I loved Ted Lasso. Trying was OK. The films I've watched on there - Swan Song and CODA - were mediocre and so much of the other content is unappealing to me though the new film starring Frances McDormand that's on there soon looks interesting: a24films.com/films/the-tragedy-of-macbeth

Did anyone watch Truth Be Told?

Some good shows on there, but you can see (by the repetition from PP of the same few show titles) that it’s still very light in terms of content.

The headline shows are good quality, but there’s just not enough to justify paying such a high monthly fee, IMO.

I enjoyed Schmigadoon.

The whole concept is incredibly clunky though. At first glance it's a huge library of content. Then you realise it's a portal through which you can access many free and subscription channels. And it's not compatible with chromecast. Wouldnt resubscribe.

doadeer, another See fan here. I only started watching it cos of JM, but really enjoyed both seasons. It’s visually stunning, which is ironic given the premise of the show.

I think loads of aspects feel very original I really liked it. Though very gruesome!

I have it - we have Apple One so we have all the Apple stuff (mainly for Arcade, Music and News).

One not mentioned which we loved in this house - Mythic Quest (if you're at all a gamer geek it's really spot on in parts)... also SNOOPY!

It's not one I think I'd pay for specifically - especially since so many people get free trials they don't use for it so gank one of their codes, but there's some decent stuff on there - just the interface for it is terrible.

I also have an Apple TV box in one room (it's the easiest way of getting Britbox on the non-smart TV in there) - I use that a lot to get to things like iPlayer and Netflix as well as the Apple stuff.

I've just started with a free trial and got some films lined up to watch at Xmas, only to find they were rental only 🥴

Keep seeing trailers for After Party which might be quite good. Coming in January

Ted Lasso is excellent. Sign up for that, binge it, then shut ATV+ off again.

Thanks to those who recommended Ted Lasso. Been looking for something lighthearted and had written this off as being all about football, but it’s more about people and really heartwarming. Loving it. Binged 6 episodes tonight

Ted Lasso, The morning show and Mythic Quest are the only worthwhile shows on there imho

Just binge watched Swagger which is amazing, from people who did Friday night lights.
