Any selling sunset fans watching?
I've just started, all the houses look like something out of the Sims. I can't imagine people actually living in them.

I’m really excited to watch. Love selling sunset it’s my guilty pleasure.

My DH has something to do with his hobbies tonight and I’m planning to binge as much as I can

I liked Tampa. More houses and equal attention to all the agents like the first series of Selling Sunset.

I found Selling Sunset series 3 a bit boring with far too much emphasis on hating Christine and not enough fabulous houses.

Christine was on maternity leave all series so why was there so much drama and hatred.

I watch for glamour and nice houses. Tampa delivered

Season 4 of Selling Sunset I mean !

jay55 · 15/12/2021 19:21

I thought the commission share drop in episode two was outrageous. Especially as it wasn't backed up with hard numbers.
I totally understand if they're selling less the costs go up, but it's such a huge jump, and no charts to say if we get back to x level of sales we can bump it up again.

I do like that they seem a smart group of women and not too much drama between them yet.

I have watched episode one. I am trying to get into it, but I don't care about the women yet. The bickering about the photo in front of clients was really unprofessional, it annoyed me that they obviously set this up for drama and detracts from the successful adult women that they presumably are.

Should I give it another episode?

Mooserp · 16/12/2021 16:05

I'd recommend sticking with it.

The women seem more 'normal' than the Selling Sunset bunch. Quite a bit of bitching behind each others backs though

SophieHatterPendragon · 16/12/2021 17:52

I’ve really enjoyed it. Just watching last episode while I cools. The only thing is I’m not really a fan of the way the main woman handles business especially as it seems one particular lady gets a job based on friendship rather than experience but that could just be the editing.

Sorta like Jason and Mary I guess except Mary clearly has a history of performing so Although it’s a bit unfair she got all the leads etc at least she has a proven record

Boring. I watch selling sunset for the over the top characters and bonkersness. All that was missing. I didn't even finish the first episode

Delatron · 17/12/2021 22:12

I don’t like the office owner. I find her quite unprofessional and the way she changed the commission structure was awful.
I’m not sure how talented she is or good at her job.

I like Rena and want her to set up the rival office.

Not quite as addictive as Selling Sunset but it’s helped kill a bit of time!

Dreamstate · 17/12/2021 23:26

Not loving the owner, awful way to tell her employees about the chnage in commission, just blunt I dont care if your concerned leave if you don't like. There are much better ways to handle it.

Also her doing mock imitations of her staff ...dreadful

MrsTimRiggins · 18/12/2021 01:54

Haha yes to the houses looking like sims houses!
I’ve only watched a couple of episodes so far, I can’t keep up with their names yet and I don’t feel any particular love for any of them but I guess that’s often the case with new series. Love seeing more of the houses as I think selling sunset lost that a bit amongst all the drama.
I’d be fuming at the abrupt change in the commission structure, it’s a big jump!! I thought it was very strange that only Rena had anything to say about it.

That's exactly how I felt. They're too normal. It's the absolute ridiculous OTT-ness of Selling Sunset that keeps me watching

peoniesarejustperfect · 22/12/2021 11:00

Just finished watching and it really grew on me. Loved them all to varying degrees - but am surprised they aren't more professional (in front of clients, esp). Hope Rena sets up her own thing as really like her. Houses are gorgeous and so nice to see more of them. We love Tampa!!
