I don’t blame the current cast members wanting to end their characters on a high. The Harold’s etc haven’t touched the show in years and are now trying to get back in for the glory. That must jar a little.

Can't believe Roxy and Kyle are leaving. I hope they leave on a high - Roxy pregnant and off they go to live happily ever after.

I agree with above poster regarding all the oldies coming back. I did at first think fantastic but like it's been pointed out, they haven't been relevant for years. It seems like we're getting rid of our current neighbours to bring back the old ones.

I agree as much as I’d love to see some of the oldies return, I didn’t want to lose current characters for it. I really like Kyle and Roxy

I don’t think it’s any kind of choice between oldies and current cast. I would also thing most of those coming back are doing cameos.

If they leave, Levi would be home alone. Maybe he would move in with Freya and the house would be let to oldies or new generation from oldies as a way to show life still goes on?

It does seem odd for them to be leaving so close to the end but it’s possible the decision was made before the contract news.

They should start a new neighbours in America with the amount of characters out there!

Maybe it has something to do with Kyle leaving, obviously if he wouldnt leave without Roxy unless he dies but I don't see that on the cards now.
So maybe with Kyle actor leaving as planned when he was gonna move to America to be with Amber actress (which is now not happening - apparently according to SM) 🤣
They planned it so they would both leave without splitting them up.
Maybe they have to go abroad for ivf or maybe adoption or something baby related 🤷🏼‍♀️

Where are Melanie and Clive? No one has even mentioned them for weeks now.

Clive is very intermittent but I don’t remember the last time we saw him. I feel like Mel is just on a break and will pop up soon.

There's a rumour of the Rodwell family moving into number 26 when Kyle and Roxy's leave. Seems to be backed up by social media photos.

What's Sadie and her police dad called? There were rumours of them moving to the street but I don't see how they'd fit in since the whole Zara saga

Yes Sadie and her family are the Rodwells. They were seen in a cast photo shoot on Instagram so we'll see.

Yes I look forward to seeing old head Pierce also, I liked him There are rumours of other characters appearing in the Sydney storyline-nothing specific but half the departees now live in Sydney like Shane, Dipi, Yashvi, Steph, probably Bea now as well, so we could see some of them.

Agree, I only saw old pierce do the dirty with Dipi once before turning into new Pierce who was an arsehole too. I can’t imagine old Pierce being so mean!

I think it's not a bad thing to have some of them leave, new families we won't bond with moving in. It's a form of moving on

@middleclassproblem I was wondering if it doesn't work so they go to America to be with Mama Jugs for more treatment. Can't work our why else they'll leave early.

I know but maybe it’s a scare that happens and that’s why they leave. Naomi in her high powered WWE job or whatever she does now has free health care for them with the best gyno I’m the world!
