deckthehallswithgeekymummy · 21/12/2007 17:07

Just watched it on 4OD. Truly worrying stuff!

Twinkly - that's one that's been mentioned

anniebear · 22/12/2007 07:26

My sister told me about this

I couldnt quite belive it

I could understand if little ones (who shouldnt have had them) swallowed 1 ball by mistake, but my sister said these kids were swallowing the sticks also?

why???? what age were these kids? I cant see why any child over the age of 6 (is tht the recommended age?) would sit and swallow the sticks for the fun of it???

Furball · 22/12/2007 08:10

apart from one toddler, most of the chldren were much older 8-11 years and had swallowed a handful of the stuff, quite odd.

Furball · 22/12/2007 08:15

forgot to mention that if only one is swallowed then it's not a problem it's when there are two swallowed seperately before the first has passed through they attract in the intestines sometimes ripping through.

anniebear · 22/12/2007 15:57

I find that also odd!! My 6 year old would be horrified if she ahd swallowed one by mistake!

she would be sobbing, not popping more in lol

moljam · 22/12/2007 16:15
