The other thread is nearly full so here is a new one. The way things are going Naughty Boy seems trapped in a never ending cycle of trials - the public seem to be taking delight in his discomfort. He seems a bit immature and vulnerable - I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable about the way things are going for him.

David Ginola is very suave and charming - a real silver fox! ☺ Arlene is bearing up well. Matty seems a bit invisible. Adam and Simon are quite entertaining and come across as nice blokes. Frankie is a bit annoying.

The trial tomorrow seems to involve drinking foul concoctions - I think it will be a bit revolting. I'm glad they no longer seem to be doing trials involving eating live insects, that always seemed really barbaric to me.

I love the way Ant and Dec take the pi** out of the contestants and also take time to fit in some humourous swipes at our PM - I love their silly humour, they make the programme doubly watchable.

Agree with others though that NB is not entertaining now he's found his erm...I don't know what....

And his reaction to being voted all the time isn't exciting either. It's just boring in the true sense of the word

Depends on how you define 'do' @Juniper68 Grin She was voted for lots but only did the first few seconds before pulling out, and didn't even try one of them from what I remember. I think she did start to do much better in the last few she was voted for though. Gillian McKeith was another one who was voted for lots- there is someone in quite a few of the series who is constantly voted for trials.

The trials are all very similar this year. Either eating or something with creeping crawlies. I remember they were more adventurous in Australia. There was one where they were on cycles on tightropes (best description I can given). The coin challenges are more interesting and varied.

My assumption is that the site in Oz is used by multiple tv programs, and therefore a permanent-ish fixture, so the trials can be "better"

The Wales site is set up and used only by itv

I actually feel a little bit sorry for NB - don't shoot me. Grin I think he is very sheltered and naive. I also think there is some sort of additional needs.

David really irritates me now and I don't think he is as nice as everyone makes out.

Adam bit mouthy and trying to be funny all the time and irritated me when doing the trials especially the drinking one. Sipping it and saying it was nice.

The rest of them I haven't really seen much of. Simon might come out of his shell yet. I had high hopes for Danny but he is just a bit bland.

First year I'm thinking about giving up on it. Not sure has it run it's course or is it because it isn't in Oz.

A bit more general variety tonight, which was good, finally.
But still - random flicks to Frankie. That was completely irrelevant. (I can’t help but think it’s cos she’s on Loose Women so also on ITV… or is that a stretch too far?)
But if you watch it back some of the flicks to her were just odd.

Usually the only people constantly voted for trials are the ones who keep on saying how scared they are of everything , they really should keep quiet !

Different this time , NB is being chosen because of how he was to start with and it's boring. Was watching on plus one and actually dropped off during the trial but woke up only to see him being picked for the next one Hmm

I don’t get this brow lamination trend. Frankies eyebrows look like a toddler who’s got snot in their eyebrows and needs a good wipe.

I saw someone in RL with them today and really don’t get the trend.

IAC used to be celebs who were a bit washed up and needed some cash and a career boost. What is it with these celebs who are already mega wealthy? It just smacks of greed and a need for attention. I have a feeling the arse cast story wasn't random but was carefully planned between her and Wayne and probably the producers too. She knows it will be all over social media now and no doubt shown on the cringey Loose Women to try and boost ratings.

Kadeena's story about her MS was far more interesting. I'd love to hear more and also about her Olympic career but I have a feeling that will take a back seat if Frankie has another hilarious story to tell Hmm

It was on NB's wiki page all to do with zayn's solo career after One Direction and a contract of some kind? They fell out over it all.

I think NB comes across as if he's about 11, not 36 (or 40 , or however old he actually is?) but I also thought he might not be NT.

I feel like David and Adam have been a bit annoyed with him a couple if times and I thought it was hilarious when Adam kept telling him to pull his trousers up.
I know lots of people on MN didn't rate her but I really liked Giovanna last year, and Mo, Vernon, Victoria Derbyshire, Shane Ritchie they seemed to gel and have a laugh but I'm not getting the same vibe this year.
NB and Arlene seem to have a very close bond but I'm not finding it that entertaining tbh. And yes to the ones who have been in the background. NB naturally gets a lot of airtime because he's been voted for all the trials but we've barely seen Matthew, Louise or Kadeena. Same with Hollie last year and she got voted off fairly early , I think because no kne really knew her.

I liked the riddles, more interesting or how about guessing some song lyrics for a change

As someone who has been aware of NB and his career for a number of years, am a bit mmmmm at his change in personality on the show, then wonder if becoming a full time carer to his mum and his career going quiet might have affected him. But regardless am fed up of him now.

I think the printed cushion, naff as it seems, is a win win - you get the family photo AND a cushion, far more practical than being in a frame.
